Weddings - 60i or 30p (auto-focusing)?

Most if not all customers will be interested in high definition provided you do not charge them extra for the service. Of course you can still provide premium wedding video packages based on extra services but high definition should come as no extra charge because that is the professional way to do a wedding. That being said the last wedding I did was shot on HDV and 30 minute high definition files were burned on regular DATA DVD discs using a cheap burner and delivered on Playstation 3 in full high definition quality. However regular Blu-Ray players spit my discs out. Playstation 3 might even be able to play DVC Pro-HD files burned on a regular DVD but the playback time might be limited to 6 to 15 minutes.

Try an HD DVD. That's the way we went. We tested Blu-Ray and found that the slightest scratch equalled no video because the bluray is soooooooo shallow compared to the HD DVD which is closer to regular DVD and come on scracthes I can still seeeeeeeeee.

Also, great pricing: http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/05/toshiba-unveils-sd-h903a-hd-dvd-burner-for-pcs/
