Hey all,
I'm heavily thinking of getting the Letus 35mm Lens Adaptor for the DVX-100 camera. I am wondering a few things - pricing. I am not looking to spend thousands of dollars and it seems that Letus and a select few others are selling from the ranges of $700 - 1,200. How much would attachments lenses cost and range from? I love the look of the depth of field and the look of film. A lot of the things I've shot with the DVX since having it in 2004 has been a lot of clear and crisp images and I do on many occasion the zooming in and focusing on the subject so the background is out of focus, but it seems like these lenses and adaptor would be a great way to achieve that look, so I'm heavily considering it. It seems worth it, but how much do you think Letus35mm and lenses would cost?

A new Letus Flip Enhanced is $700, the Economy is $900, and the Extreme is $1200. Lenses can range from $20 on up, on ebay -- just look for Nikon or Canon FD.

Have you used the Letus35mm adaptor and lenses and what's your thoughts on it? Anyone have any thoughts on it?

Do a search here on this site, and look for letus footage. There is a lot of clips of differnet types of 35mm such as:

Letus35FE
Brevis
SGpro

I did a review on the Letus 35 Flip Enhanced here on DVXUser, and I currently have a Letus Extreme. From my perspective I think it's the best adapter on the market.

I wouldn't mind some clarification on what the differences are between the extreme and the economy. Is it just that the economy is made of plastic and doesn't have an enclosed battery, or am I missing something?
