Matching HD110 with JVC HD10 or HD1 30P

Hi Folks,

I have a HD110 and was wondering if anybody has ever tried match older JVCs cameras, the HD1 or HD10, in 30P to the HD110? I have a chance to buy either a HD1 or HD10 and thought it could be a decent 2nd camera for 2 camera shoots. The specs look similar.

Thanks,

Scott

I may have answered my own questions after doing some more research. I thought the HD10 was a 3 chips, but alas they are both single chip, so I would guess matching would be tough. At least on resolution.

Well, if anybody has tried I'd like to know the results.

The JVC GR-HD1 is a psuedo 3 CCD camera. It uses a primary complimentary color filteration system and a clever mathematically algorithim to generate 2.5 megapixels of color information which is almost equivalent to 4:4:4 color but is subsampled down to 4:2:0 color when compressed.
