Latin music video - HVX200

[abalex]

Wassup!

Just want to share with you a music video I've directed for a local latin artist, Lilian Aguayo. Cinematography by Andy velasco.

Shot in two days at the legendary Salt flats and at a local recording studio.

The song goes about a woman who keeps waiting for her love to show up.

Let me know wacha think..

pretty cool. nice and simple. i didn't like the blur effect/transition that kept coming in and out of every other cut though.

thanks 4 feedback.

I wasn't really sure about the blur effect.

Any other thougths?

thanks

Most of the pans on the dolly moves seem a little jerky.

Actually I liked some of the blur effect...just don't over do it but it overall looked good. While the pans and dolly moves were a little jerky it almost seemed like it was done in purpose to give a more a "Cinema Verite" look...

thanks guys. about the jerky moves/shots, some are in purpose and some arent, like the dolly one, that wasn't in purpose, the tripod used for the dolly was to small and not heavy enough to hold the camera and jib arm, that's why you get the jerk.

thanks again

not too crazy about the constant out of focus shots. Huge props for the lighting and the overall look of the recording studio. And nice rack focus on that one shot in the studio. Congrats.

thanks godamgo, maybe I should go back and remove some of the out of focus effects.

keep the feedback coming!
