MacBook Pro, Leopard, Dual Adapter & P2 Cards

Greetings All,

It's come time for me to upgrade my laptop (finally) and am looking at a 15" MacBookPro. Does anyone here have any experience (in the field) with the following setup for P2 offloading. MacBook Pro, Leopard, Dual Adapter, P2 Genie or P2CMS . I know P2CMS will probably not work with the latest version of Quicktime, but I suppose there is a (slim) chance that Panasonic will update it in our lifetime.
Any input would be appreciated as I don't have tons of time to devote to troubleshooting drivers etc. etc...

Thanks,

Skuzzle

I think most people are waiting to find out through others whether there are issues or not. I certainly am. My folks just purchased an iMac, it didn't have leopard pre-loaded, it came on a seperate disc with tiger loaded on it, so you may be in luck if the laptop you pick up still has tiger on it.
As for me, I do little editing, so I am still on a Powerbook.

Duel adapter does work with Leopard. Have not yet trued P2CMS as yet. Also, not certain how FCS2 is going in Leopard.

I got MacBook Pro 15, Tiger 10.4.10, Dual Adapter, P2CMS and Raylight, Glyph hardrive and never got a problem until now. For Quicktime, Qt 7.3 is suppose to fix that problem. Dual Adapter downloading time, about 2 gig/min.

FCS2 been problem free and lightning fast on my system.
(Macbook Pro 17" 1920 x 1200 2.4ghz)

Duel Adapter was having issues in 10.4.10 , not a single issue in 10.5

I have been running leopard and have had Zero issues with Duel Adapter. I have however found that P2CMS is not working with leopard. When I got to load up a P2 Volume, it displays a message saying " Multiple Validation Errors Occurred ".

Anyone else know what the deal is with P2MCS & Leopard?
