I am selling 2 Avid Xpress Pro HD editing programs with Mojo and component cables. They were bought brand new from AVID when it was version 4.x but upgraded to 5.x. They each come with 2 Avid component cables, Avid Xpress Pro HD (dongle included), a mojo, and ansilary software. Also pictured are a book and a dvd on Avid. I will give one with each system but its up to the first person which one they get. I was thinking on $1300 each. Let me know if you have any questions.

Because of the ancillary software I'm assuming these are retail versions and not Academic, right? And have you registered them with Avid (meaning a transfer of license would be necessary) or are they unregistered (no transfer of license needed)?

Yes they are full versions and yes they would have to be transferred. The $100 fee could come off the $1300.

What are you charging for shipping? Or is it dependant on where you're shipping to? I'm going to talk to the boss tomorrow about buying one of these and would love a complete cost.

What kind of system were you running these on? PC or Mac? And are you looking to get rid of that too, perchance?
 
Yeah I guess it would be dependant on where I was shipping it too. I don't really see it being too expensive. We were running them on HP Workstations with dual Xeons. We are keeping them as we've switched over to Premiere Pro. Avid ran great on those machines but my Production manager wanted to switch to all Adobe products. Now since the Avids just sit and collect dust, we want to sell them and buy some nice toys for our HVX.

People should be making moves here. This is a great deal for indi filmmakers and production companies alike....
correct me if im wrong here, but im pretty sure that you can run xpress pro on both pc and mac, and that the install dvd has both
versions on it...
 
Yes Evolve the discs do say WindowsXP and Mac OS X. Yeah we just dont want them sitting here anymore and figure someone else can put them to good use!
 
All Avid software comes with a Windows and Mac installer. It's your dongle that carries the license and determines whether the program runs or not.

On the ancillary software, what version of Sorenson is it? Also, you guys don't have an RS232-422 adapter (like a Rosetta stone cable) you're wanting to sell with these, are you?

- As for the software it is Sorenson Squeeze 3 with the one and 4 with the other, Reel DVD 3.1.3, Boris Graffiti LTD ver. 2.1.2 & FX LTD Ver. 6.1.2.

- As for the cable/adapter yes we do have one of these and I could sell it to ya along with the system.

Meant to post earlier--I was the guy that bought one of these systems. Entire transaction was fast, smooth, and painless. Software and hardware showed up a day earlier than expected, was incredibly well packaged, and within an hour I was set up and editing on an Avid again. The license transfer was easy and Avid was actually very fast in processing it.

Thanks to Funkycoldg for the fast shipping and quality hardware/software. This is an excellent deal--someone needs to hurry up and take advantage of it.

Well since this Avid has Sorenson 3 with it I am going to lower the price to $1000 +shipping and Paypal fees. Remember this one also comes with both the training book and DVD.

Yes this system comes with the mojo and 2 component cables, dongle and software. Also a DVD and Training Book.
