changing meta data?

For some reason a short I shot in 720pn @ 24 fps has the meta data that it was shot at 59.99 fps and its freaking out avid. The first few shots are good and work in avid but then I get an error that the rest are not the same frame rate as the project and can't do anything with them. I don't know how the meta data got changed but somehow it did. Edius reads all the files fine and plays them in the timeline no problem. Is there a way to change the meta data frame rate to see if that works in avid?

I thought avid didn't support native 24p from the HVX... I could be wrong though.

I have been shooting the same way for every thing I have shot on the HVX, 720pn and never had this problem. I did use a different camera for this though, maybe somethings wrong there but I'm hoping I can change the data and force avid to see 24 fps and not 59.
