Telephoto lens for HVX?

Hi,

Im looking to buy a telephoto lens for my HVX but cant decide whether to get a century optics 2x or a century optics 1.6x...

ive been told the 1.6x is a better lens but for my purposes the 2x would suit better.

anyone got some photo comparisons or any sort of advice?

Don't know if it's still up (with pictures) but someone had done a post on the 2x lens about a year ago. I bought one for a job and then sold it because I did not need it anymore and had not able to find one to rent in my area.

Both the 2.0 and 1.6 are worth the money. If I were spending my bucks and DID NOT ABSOLUTELY have to get the 2.0, I think I would go with the 1.6 as you are not really gaining that much more with the 2x . . . except more than twice the weight and a third again the cost. You can go without rails with either one but I would recommend them for the 2x.

i cant seem to find that post with all the picture comparisons etc on it. is there any chance you could do that for me? if your using the sliders, how does your tripod handle it? what is your tripod? haha lots of questions hope you can help!!!
