Calling all HVX Music Videos

A long time ago, a friend and I made a couple of episodes of a headbangers ball-esque music video show for public access. It was actually pretty good all things considered and at the time we were told by the station that they got a ton of positive calls about it.

Anyhow - there are a lot of great music videos posted right here on this forum everyday, that people otherwise would never see. I'm considering maybe reviving the show for a couple of episodes this winter (kind of a lazy sunday project) -----

so I was wondering if any of you talented people wanted to share your videos and any making of footage you may have. And maybe a couple of interesting notes about filming or story or style.

Ideally you'd be able to send me a data DVD with a full res Quicktime movie.

If you're interested PM me and I'll tell you what to send and where to send it.

I'll send DVD copies of the show to everyone who gets put in the show.
Maybe I'll even post it as a HD podcast as an HVX showreel

What think ye?

hell yeah. I'm going to get a PO box and I'll post it here at the beginning of next week. Then you guys can all just send me discs with music vids.

So Here's the PLace to Send them -

Synthetic Psalms
c/o Urban Rhino
PO Box 3286
Burlington, VT 05408

The easiest thing to do is just burn the uncompressed movie to a DVD as Data and send it along!

Also include dp and director credits, plus any web address you might want to share. I'll put them up before each video

That sounds like a great idea. I was noticing too there is just some killer music video work on this site.

I'm actually in the process of trying to find Los Angeles-based music video directors, just a few, to work with the production company I co-own. I have been reviewing applications and honestly most of what I have seen so far doesn't compare to just about any of the music video work posted on this forum. I've seen some killer stuff here. Hopefully I come across a few more directors with really solid work around here who are up-and-coming because I already feel like I've seen too many videos I wasn't really stoked about.
