Hello there you lovely lot,
I thought I'd pop up a few stills from a music video I shot on the weekend for my delightful friend and all round ... um.. unique fellow Elemental MC.
Sadly, the shoot didn't go quite how we planned. We thought we'd have a good few hours on our set, but it turned out that we had to squeeze practically an entire shoot into half an hour. - yeah. I know!
So this explains why the lighting isn't really planned, I just had to 'plop' a couple of blondes down and go for it... Also my dolly rental fell through right at the last minute, so I ended up having to either hand hold or use a really quickly thrown together skateboard-and-tripod job. Which was far from Ideal as you can imagine. I just hope there's enough to cut together.
Incidentally, there is another reel I have to get through, of a bunch of exterior stuff. If you don't hate me after this, I'll post a couple (as long as I can get them off my laptop - it's being a bit weird and wouldn't let me last night... which is scary)
Also - I would like to note, that this is my FIRST SHOOT with my lovely new HVX200. (well apart from the usual mucking arounds whilst out and about, and shooting your kids in slow motion etc. - umm. i mean filming your kids in slow motion. I didn't actually SHOOT them - just to be clear!!)
Thanks to you all on the board for helping me choose my camera by the way :love4:
Ahem. So anyway. Here are the stills. Straight out the camera - no grading or whatever - just a touch of resizing for the board.
Comments ladies and gentlemen? if you so desire.
