HVX wildlife footage

Here's a short compilation of some wildlife footage I shot in California for a doc. Many shots are with the century optics 2x converter. This is just the first of a few visits, so any thoughts are appreciated!

Please excuse the old photo on the background... all of this was shot on the HVX!

Very nice! Love the close up shots -- ants, spiders, etc. Also like the reel edit, nice and tight with good flow.

Very nice shots. I know it took some real skill to get close to your subjects considering the HVX 200's pitifull telephoto reach. Have you had any experience with the Century tel. adaptor? A 16 or 20x on a new version of the HVX would be so cool....

Thanks.... Sorry, I don't have any experience with the adapters, but would like to know more about any options to get a bigger telephoto out of the camera.

nice work.. and saw a pic of the old trusted XL1.. do you still use that or are you all HVX now?

Thanks- I actually still use the XL1 with a canon 300mm lens for some older ongoing wildlife projects. The reach is amazing, just wish it had the same resolution as the HVX!
