Brandon Rice - "Welcome To The Party"

Wow Justin is quick... just sent me the full first draft.

Going to plug it in tonight, and send any notes I have, but let me tell you it sounds awesome!

Congrats on getting the score done. Looking forward to seeing this. What did you use as your location and how'd you get it?

Hey, thanks for checking the thread out man!

Regarding the location. It is the office where I work, so we just shot there after hours. Great location!

I must say I am very disappointed with the rating systems on these threads. I always notice my threads get bumped way down in ratings (by a few unhappy snipers most likely).

I really wish we could get rid of the star ratings.

I have wondered why yours is at three. You have more updates, pictures, and info than most other threads.

I have no idea man... some haters about I imagine...

I try to update often, and stuff (as you have done with your thread as well)

Hey Brendon,

I'm always last to join the party. Just wanted to chime in that everything's looking great and I can't wait to see it finally done !

I'm also a fan of Robert Rodgriguez as well mainly for his get up and go, inclusive attitude and drive. I loved the 10 minute film school and always remember reading my copies of 'Rebel without a crew' and 'Roadracers'.

Good luck !

Richard

Congrats Brandon on completing (ok, just about anyway) your entry. I'm always excited to see what you bring to the table...

Thanks man! Yeah, just have a few notes Justin K. is working on and then he'll be sending me the HQ audio files to get in, and we're on our way. I am running some compression/render tests at the moment.

Any chance you could post your compression & render results (actually what you did to get there) when you get it figured out? We seem to be having a little hiccup with getting the right quality vs. file size.

We're using Vegas 7 and QT Pro.

Thanks in advance

New production update added up front!

And Glideshot, I'll hook you up with numbers, etc. once I've run some more tests!
