Tests for an upcoming short

I really loved it!
Was this shot on a PAL or NTSC? It looked like PAL to me (filmic)

Did you use Squeeze or Normal?
What settings were used?

The quality turned out nice. It is an ntsc dvx. I know, pal does offer such filmic looks, even more than the NTSC dvx.

This was shot squeeze, but i exported 720 x 380.

chroma level, and phase were at -7, and color temp was at -2. detail was at 0 im pretty sure. I used cinelike. In post, i added a slight green tint, and desaturated it. Not totally black and white, but enough so it looks darker

Man, that was great. Excellent colors and movement on the actors part. Great editing too (even for just a test!)

Interesting look to the whole thing.
 
There wasn't a lot of depth in the scene. Just a guy against a wall, so everything looks flat. This is saved a bit by the lighting, but not entirely. See if you can find an angle maybe looking down along the wall, with the character in profile, or partially facing the camera, so you can get some more visual interest. Space things out. Looks good, though.
 
Ya, Josh, I will do that. I was by myself and i just wanted to get er done. When i have my actors, i will look through my camera, and get some nicer angles.

This video, i wasnt concentrating on the camera, more on the editing. How id edit it, with the colors, the sound, and the qucik cuts you see. But thanks, ill keep that in mind
