CAVEMEN on ABC... thoughts on it?

Are you lookin' at my bum!?

Bum looker! Cheeky monkey... Stop lookin' at my bum!

For the record I never got the humor in the caveman spots anyway... to me it seems like an expanding universe created around a single gag... and now the tv show? Wow.

I found her on the beach the other day.

Now THAT'S funny... be proud of this post man. :cheesy:

As long as the industry is embracing product mascots for shows, I'd like to see the Coppertone girl now that she should be in her late 20's to early 30's... you know, she would show up for an important job interview but there's a little dog revealing her ass the entire time.

The boss is annoyed by the growling dog's presence throughout the interview as she tries to explain it away... the boss tells her that there's no way he can hire her because of this ridiculous commotion... then she turns around to leave and reveals a white arse and nicely tanned back...

"Wait! You're HIRED!"

This... only 20 something years later...

Ahh! This thread is getting scary...

But back to topic it does show how Hollywood is harder up than ever for ideas. Reminds me of a quote from STNG where they mentioned that T.V. lost all relevance as an entertainment medium in the 21st century. Once again sci-fi mirrors real life ;-)

Didn't they already do a show about a caveman on one of the networks?

What was it called? Oh yeah....According To Jim.

They should make a TV show about the office monkeys in the CareerBuilder commercials. Now THOSE guys are funny!

:)

I enjoyed the first episode, the second one fell flat. The only solid new show out this season is 'Pushing Dasies', fabulous writing and art direction, imho.

Yeah, I caught the premiere of "Pushing Daisies" at ABC.com. Seems pretty cool. Missed it last night, so I'll have to watch it online again.

I've given "Bionic Woman" three episodes now and, well, it just kinda lies there. Too much boring-yet-vague exposition and not enough bionic beatdowns.

Agreed, I tried my best with Bionic but it became stale and obvious. The second daisies episode last night was great, definitely check it out.

I missed Daisies. What's it about?

A guy can raise someone from the dead if he touches them. But if he doesn't touch them again within 60 seconds (thus sending them back to the great beyond), someone else dies. He uses this power to solve murders and collect rewards while scoring with chicks he can't touch.

Also, the guy runs the best-named restaurant ever: The Pie Hole.
