Brevice or IndiFocus or RedrockMicro for DVX 100B?

Ok Folks, I am looking to getting a follow focus, Rails and Slide mount set for my DVX100B and I really want to get the best finishing as seen in those short commercials with objects in and out of focus background. I know the Brevis35, RedrockMicro and IndiFocus are good candidates here. From your personal experience and use with these tools, taking the finished output and pricing into consideration, which is the better way to go for a very modest budget. I am willing to cough up more bucks if the end product or output speaks louder and clearer.

Any thoughts on this will be appreciated

Perhaps I am miss reading your post, but a follow focus alone will not give shallow DOF. You would need a 35mm adapter like those offered by Brevis and Redrock. Indifocus does not currently offer a 35mm adapter.

I would suggest a post in the 35mm adapter forum. This question is covered quite extensively there.

Do checkout Snodart's DOF tutorial... Perhaps this will clear things up.

Best of luck on your purchases.

Good answer. Here's a link to Snodart's tutorial as recommended by Jason.

Thanks very much guys. I wondered why I didn't get a response up till now. DOF was what I was trying to refer to when I wrote ...' as seen in those short commercials with objects in and out of focus background.'

Thanks Again Jason and rcbrown23.
