Hi there. I am interested in doing some documentary work. Tomorrow I plan on ordering the camera, Carboni F102 combo and a Sony wired, lavalier mike. Also plan on getting the DVX DVD. Just received the "DV Filmmaking- From Start to Finish" by Ian David Aronson. Anything else I need to know on the short course of "fools rush in where angels fear to tread"? I already have a couple of hot lights and softboxes but will tweak my lighting after learning to use the camera. Thanks ahead of time for any advice.:nads:

Advice: find any excuse to shoot your ass off: little league games, skateboarders at the park, do your friend's weddings for free. Buy a wireless system. Pay attention to camera positions when watching a good movie.
