Austin Texas users want to team up?

... and a congrats is due to you SS, for becoming a "senior member"! lol.

Thanks alot, iv worked hard to get where I am today. I would like to first thank God for inspiring me with the replys and new topics I formed leading me up to my 100 posts. I would also like to think Panasonic because with out them there would be no DVX and with out DVX there would be no DVX users or this website to accomedate them. Most importantly I would like to think all the little people of the Lolly Pop Guild 318 Local for their inspiring words of wisdom....

err... I mean Thanks Spooky :D

Heres a link to the place, you can type in a starting address for directions...

The earliest I will get back into town will be 7, I have a friend that wants to help out, hes a really good writer just no filmmaking experiance. So if you guys are still there 7-8ish I should be able to meet up.

Cool... As much as my wife likes gelatos and espressos, there's a limit to her endurance with my video geekery:beer: ...So now I can tell her that there will be other wives there to mingle with.

I've just come up with a phenomenal idea for a fest entry! I can't wait to run it by y'all this Sun and see what you think.

Nice, spooky. Talking up your idea before the sit-down won't make any of us more likely to like it. It just raises our hopes/expectations.

;)

I've got an idea too, but mine sucks.

Maybe we could take advantage of our city and use something based off a true story, theres a ton of stuff through out the city like Jacobs Hill Bridge, two kids murdered by their father, its said that they will push your car across the bridge to get away from the abandoned house. Just wanted to throw that out incase I cant make it to the meeting tomorrow

Whether or not we "borrow" some cues from true stories, I'd love to see us settle on an idea/script that brings the flavor of Austin to the film. Not sure how, but I think that could be a cool approach.
