Hey Pettersen,
Great images. change the wording around on the canon image to The New Canon F-1 and you will be set for that, which looks absolutely amazing. The water droplets look really awesome too! How did you capture the images (specifically the water) and what lens where you using? F-Stop?

That was all about timing and luck. I used an old Canon FD 80-200 f4 lens and a plastic adapter I made myself. I don't get infinitiy focus with it, but it works great for macros and closeups.

Here is a pic of the setup.

For the other shots, i probably used a 20-35mm f2.8 lens or a manual 50mm f1.8.

Nice little set up. Great image that you got out of it.

I recently discovered HDR in the past couple of weeks. Here is one of my new ones.

OK Adam, I have been trying HDR alot recently, and havent been able to get anything decent. How about sharing your technique, at least the basics of shooting in bracketing, or whatever method you are using...Send me a PM if need be. Great picture!

Andrew,
I use a tripod and most of the time I dont even use bracketing. I just take about 5 or 6 photos and see which ones are usable or not. Mainly for the sky being almost dark and the highlight almost blown if you get me. It can be tedious work but it is well worth it.

I also use photomatix pro 2.5 software to merge the images. It def. works better then Photoshop CS2 HDR plug in. So you should try it. HDR is amazing and I wish you didnt have to shoot on sticks. I mean you can just run and gun. But it isnt going to turn out like that last pic!

Ill post it on this page again so the rest can see.
