Completely right, even more so, when turning to focus it would be very hard to not accidentally push or pull the zoom. It's always best to have zoom and focus on two different rings.
 
thoes lenses are killers. Scary sharp. meant for full frame pro photography. so actually its resolving power is very high.

I had shot some stuff with it for the go35 site, but they chose the 50mm stuff to show for the website.... too bad the images were great.
