Wow, that looks very clean and sharp and is nicely lit. I'm looking forward to some video.

Slick! Especially like the against-the-wall shot the hip shaker. Which isn't surprising, Two-Hip.

How much do you charge for something like this? Please tell us, since there are numerous threads this week struggling with this question.

Yeah Aram, these look way better than some other things I've seen. Did you shoot this one? I'm telling you, you gotta start pushing the amateurs aside and take the reigns man.

Oh yeah, and if her phone number just happens to fall out of your pocket and I pick it up...that wouldn't be bad...

Thanks guys.
She is definitely smokin'. I had 2 cameras going this time. Johnny Tsang was on Steadycam, dolly and pick ups for a while but then it started to get difficult for me to direct and shoot at the same time so the last 2 set ups I stopped shooting so I can concentrate on just directing. This was someone else's project that was due to shoot Saturday but the director pulled his self out and took his crew on Thursday so they were scrambling to get someone else to fill in. They sent me the treatment and I said I will get it done no problem. So we get to the studio on Saturday morning and they said all the sets should be there soon. The plan was to make it look like she was a mannequin in 5th ave stores. By 11am nothing came and we decided to starting shooting on the fly trying to keep the same idea. Of course the sets never showed up and we wound up making up everything the whole day long. We tried to keep the same setups as the plan we made the night before just with no sets and props. The mannequins, clothes and the diamond jeweler did show up so we went and found a box to prop her up on to suggest she was in a window with mannequins. What I am going to wind up doing it taking the footage I have and adding a bunch of motion graphics to spice it up some.
As for the money question, its what the market can bear. These people were in a desperate situation and I did them a favor with the price in hopes to get her next video from the start instead of cleaning up someone elses mess. It is a gamble but you never know, it might be nothing or we might cultivate a great relationship. They were VERY thankfull at the end of the day so we shall wait and see if karma will come around.

You can hear the song here.

Yes yes.. it was a fun shoot.. I went home and did my destruction... (inside joke for Aram) HAHAHA..

Doesn't she look like Jessica Alba? I was going to tell her that but then I was afraid she would slap me and hate me for the rest of the night and would never get that hug.. HAHAHAHAHAHHA..

Anyway fun shoot meng.. You should post that part with the little girl shot from the floor.. Can't wait to see the draft!

Everything looks really stunning, Aram... sorry if that's a bit of a blah response, but it looks very nice to my eyes.

Looking forward to some footy if you can post it.

Later,
Jason

Thanks Jason, no didn't think that at all. :) I'm glad you likey. I'm hoping the label likey too. Now to come up with ideas what to do with the footage with her on the black background. I was thinking of compositing her onto the times square building that splits 7th and Broadway for the dancing shots. But I think I just saw that some where.

Love the grabs. Was that with the CF1L diffuser on the Brevis? Also what lenses are you using?

Sorry if that info is detailed somewhere else.

Added a small rough cut teaser from the dance section in the video. Still have to lock an edit and all the post work left.
