its loading, but the first shot was very nice!

done

really liked it man, very well done.

my question is, when you're shooting for slow mo, how do you know how quickly to playback the song during the shoot so that it lines up perfectly with turning 60 frames into 24 frames, so you dont actually have to slow down the 24p footage in your timeline and create motion blur or strobbing.

also, what adapter did you use? It seems the bokeh on this one wsa more hazzy than most, reminds me of the ifocus a bit.

Despite the music, I thought that was very well put together. You always had a nice little bit of movement and the lighting was nice and moody on all of it. Few soft shots here and there, but it sorta went with the feel of the video, so it was alright. The only thing I would have liked better, was if she had been walking away from the camera at the end. I just feel like that would have given it a bit more closure than if she was walking towards it.

looks great man. you've got a great style.

LOVE the rain. what did you rent to have the rain? - a water buffalo?

anyway, amazing job

Yeah that's something that i plan on doing on a music video, i know you need like hydrant permits (at least in NYC) to do rain stuff...But i also was going to ask you, was the band's instruments and amps bought just for the shoot, cuz if it gets wet, they will brake? I always wondered that...Unless they are endorsed and can throw away guitars like there's no tomorrow. Please share!!!!

Hey Noah,
I apologize for not having gotten back to you yet. Been busy trying to get this damn video done. But we rented a water truck for the day. I think it was about 600 for 8 hours... And we didnt really have to go through any permits for the location of the cemetary to use water.
As far as the band equipment goes, the band baught a whole new drum sett stricktly for the video, it was part of the budget and guitars are fine but you have to dry them off right after your done shooting

What was the budget for the video? I assume you had to pay for the locations and such...That's funny about the band equipment. I would figure the drums were the safest in the water...so the guitar and bass worked after they dried out?

Hey

I love both the video and the song.
I am not a rock fan but the music is way up there with the best.
