Weird QT problems on 720p24 exports

This is driving me nuts.
1) When I export quicktime movies (shot and edited in 720p 24pn) the quicktime files are imperfect. It seems that when there is a significant amount of movement in the frame I get a few glitchy lines (horizontal lines, but not line interlacing lines). The lines are more apparent when going through the movie at higher speeds. It is strange because I thought a quicktime export wouldn't change what I see in my viewer.
2) When I open quicktime the quicktime files in quicktime (instead of in FCP) there are different problems. I don't think I've seen those glitchy lines but my motion in the frame is not smooth like it is in FCP. When there is significant motion in the frame it seems to kind of stick or be jerky motion.
Weirder still, when I compress the movies I don't seem to have this problem. But i like to keep uncompressed copies of my movies! Again, in my timeline/viewer within FCP before export, these movies look perfect.
Please help,
sns

here's a possible lead....
I believe that on the same exports that have these line problems, the selection arrow (the cursor) flickers right after I press the play button with it and keeps flickering as it is playing. What I can't figure out is why this happens on some of the videos but not at all on some others that are exactly like the ones that have this problem (ie. slightly altered versions of the same commercial). I believe all the videos were exported the same way, but most of them have this problem.

sorry to keep updating this, but this is very interesting and strange. I've figured out that I get that flickery playback (the cursor flickers as mentioned above) when PART of my timeline required rendering (but not all of it). If I make a timeline and the whole thing needs rendering it plays back perfect, if I make one and none of it needs rendering it plays back perfect, but if some of the clips need rendering and others don't (even one clip) the exported movie plays back poorly. Can anyone explain this? It has to be the red (needs rendering) bar not the green bar where you can still play back. I figured this out when trying to cc with magic bullet.
Perhaps somebody else can try an experiment?

its not a rendering issue entirely i have the same issue.... magic bullet filters have been doing that to me for years..... its magic bullet.
