The Blue Ribbons: the Tears of the Devil

I love this song. It definitely makes your head bop and the music recorded pretty well it sounds.
Yeah the compression is making it look really dark.

That trip up there is still up in the air...

The audio was a mixture of the Plough's independent recorded sound (which they found week later and gave to me) and the Schoeps, whith one track and added stereo. The Schoeps fills it out because the house mics were a little too sterile.

I don't mind the darkness but the quality took a hit. I uses MPEG4 for the first time because the H.126 was making everything look light and milky on export and the JPEG-PHOTO was too large a file. Getting under a 100MB was a B#TCH.

I am pretty happy with my handheld on this one (and I am not on some other songs) especially the two shots that begin at the 5 minute mark. That opening shot you got really set the tone and it seemed we were in good position throughout. I wish I could say that for both of us on other songs. All and all, for the first time shooting live, I am a happy with the results.

Let me know on the Boston thing, come up anyway.
