Some of the cleanest HVX footage I've ever seen

I love how its very polished.

It was funny when the astronaut guy was on the floor and it sounded like he said "I'm Gay!" instead of saying "I'm OK!".

Brandon - Great stuff! With my 7 month old loving his Charlie and Lola (Animation), this is something that would grab his attention with the vibrant colors and really fun opening song. (One of the things that Joseph loves most is a catchy opening song!)

If you want to try it out on some youngsters, let me know. I've got an 8-year old niece and a 5-year old nephew that would be great test screeners. :)

Hey all! Thanks for the awesome encouragement! Here's a little BTS photo of that opening scene!

The footage looks great Brandon!

Would you mind elaborating on one of the recording settings ... what was the shutter angle set at? Was it the default 180 degrees? It seems very filmlike without a lot of motion blur or stuttering in the panning... which is what I ultimately try to accomplish with my settings.

Thanks

Chroma Level?

Chroma Level?

In your scene file I noticed you did not put Chroma level. Just curious to know. It was some really good footage and similar to what I shoot in terms of material. I was curious if you boosted Chroma in camera or all was done in Post.

Wow! Top Notch dude! I love the movement in the opening scene as well.. It's floaty... (if thats a real word) You should consider a bungee rig when the show gets picked up (which it will).

100% amazing.. love the colors.. and just about everything else about it.. VERY PRO.. I'd really love to see the whole episode.. Any chance? (please)

I wish you the best of luck get this show off the ground and make a fortune.

Brandon! AWESOME! I seem to remember seeing a very rough concept version of this way back when -- and this final product blows it away. Great job. It should sell like hotcakes!!

I hope the kiddies can appreciate the single take / no cuts intro. I sure do!

Please describe the editing workstation you used for this project (hardware, software, NLE, interfaces)

Very Good Colors, Acting, and Panning. :) It looks like a no brainer this should get picked up. You might want to hire someone. When the product is this good you should get a professional to sell it.

thanks for all the comments guys! I haven't checked this thread in awhile, but it was cool to see how many of ya'll came and checked it out! Thanks. Will do my best to answer some of your inquiries.

Thanks Nik! And funny you should say to hire someone. We do in fact have a very good entertainment lawyer who is representing the show as the agent and attorney for the show.

Hey Owen, thanks for checking in, haven't talked in awhile!

Yeah, this show has been in the works for a few years, and I think we finally nailed the concept!

Here's hoping! Thanks again for checking it out!

Hey John, the shutter angle was indeed at 180 degrees for the entire shoot. I think part of the trick to not getting the stuttering in the pan is to move slowly and try to follow the action, which is what I tried to do. Thanks for checking it out.

Adam

I boosted the saturation of everything in post, and you gotta love 4:2:2 colorspace :) it holds up wonderfully!

Justin, thanks for checking it out! We'll definitely have the full episode available (probably privately) for those who'd like to see it. Thanks!
