guys, im leaving in about 30 minutes to film my first wedding. Im excited and a little nervous, only cause i dont wanna miss anything...

one thing, im thinking of using the song "The Rose" by leann womack (prolly by a lot of ppl)

I think its a fine choice, but I wouldnt worry about it yet. Go shoot, get the footage and figure out the song during the edit. Just go worry about getting all of the "important" shots and stay out of the way at the same time. Have fun.
 
ya i went to reherseal and we talked a bout my positiong and such, she saide i can get in between the groom adn the bride.......
 
FWIW all of the weddings I've been to in the past few years have been cliche, so that song wouldve worked fine. Cliche isnt necessarily a bad thing.

I'd use a song that has some meaning to the couple though. Wife and I got married to U2 - wedding music is overrated.
 
good for you for going to the rehearsal and figuring it out before today, that will help you avoid anything embarrassing. Bring us back some good footage.
 
Just SHOOT - figure out post production later man. I got a wedding today too actually, but not for a couple more hours.
