Sepia shooting

I am going to shoot something that will later go Sepia tone in post. Any suggestions for lighting, wardrobe, and set design? I am thinking a veteran has some tricks...
 
As for lighting, make it contrasty.

As for wardrobe, reds will appear darker than anything else, sometimes even blacks.
