FS: Sennheiser MKH416 P48 Shotgun

Spartacus

Veteran
SOLD!

EDIT: THIS SALE IS NOW LIMITED TO European Union MEMBERS ONLY!

Got two from a studio clearance, so they are not ENG worn down, but in excellent condition...
Selling one with case and windscreen and simple AKG mic mount, fixed price 600€ plus shipping (with insurance only).

Money transfer prefered, Paypal if you pay the charge

ATTENTION: I´m in Germany so with shipping to the US this deal may not be the best for you!

The MKH416 48P is a workhorse that will probably serve you over your whole career, it´s the kept promise the ME66 gives but doesn´t keep...

FAQ pre-answered:

Yes, this is not as cheap as on ebay, but I´ve been around here for a while, so I´m not as anomynous as some guy on ebay and again I tell you this baby is in excellent condition and has not been beaten to death in the field...

Yes, this is "only" around 25% less than eg TrewAudio, if you don´t think 25% is enough of a saving, don´t start to argue, simply don´t buy it :2vrolijk_08:

Yes, the Schoeps or the Sanken may be better, but they are also more expensive...

No, I´m not taking best offers, this might not be a super-duper bargain, but it is a good deal on a solid piece of equipment

Yes, Oleg will probably think it´s too expensive...

Yes, you can also pic it up if your from Germany (or taking a trip overseas only to save 25% on a used microfone )

Thanks for the hint Steve!
I didn´t get these mics cheap, but at a good price for rarely used mics (only downside was I had to buy a pair...)
I was hoping for a buyer like myself: willing to spent serious money on audio, but still being limited on a budget (= no Sanken or Schoeps shotgun for me...)
So the best deal most probably will agree is a used MKH416 (there is a new AKG SE300/CK98 at around the same price, but I don´t know how it sounds...)
Now, when plunging out 500-600€ for something used, I´d rather stay on the higher side, but know it´s been treated well, since my upcomming work depends on it...
(for fun stuff, I´ll also cheap shot of course :cheesy: "I´ll give ya 5 bucks for that pirate´s wooden leg!")

the link in my initials -
cheap people dont need good expencive mics :-)

Hey Oleg,
I will look into that (but I have to register first, right?)
I really thought that more people where interested, but I people seem to still prefer a ME66 :violin:
And what about your Porsche...?

We're not cheap we're all broke from cams n 35mm adapters and such

but thanks for the compliment ;-)

Are you still selling this mic? I might be interested. Don't need or want the stand or case or cable though. Just the mic itself and the windscreen.

Yeah, I'll second that.

The mic is worth the money, and if he's holding out for that much, that's his business.

Hey,
actually that´s why it´s still sitting on its shelf, in half a year it still is a MKH416, same quality, not very likely they come up with a HD version ;o)
I wanted to offer a decent saving along with the fact of buying from a long time member, in exchange I wouldn´t have to deal with the bay and maybe also would profit from a "more personal dvxuser deal"...

Anyway, the Euro/Dollar exchange rate probably is making this a not-so-good deal for non-EU folks,

I hearby limit this sale to EU members only, no shipping outside of the EU!

Moderators, please close this thread, I´ll open a new one...

PS skycron, though you removed your post, I read it when it was there and clearly don´t feel like doing business with you...
If you can´t afford or don´t want to pay the price of my used MKH416, just get a NTG1 and don´t start offending me, thanks...
