News of a new hvx200?

I actually have the new HVX200. It's called the "HVX200B(revis)." It's really cool - let's me use 35mm lenses n' crap. I hear there is a third model coming out called the "HVX200H(ydra)." And that one like totally looks ultra mega ok!

Nice.

Survey prize blows. I think the joke in this thread lead to the biggest onslaught of that survey being completed.

Wow, I used the hvx the other day....
That LCD scared the crap out of me! If it is suppossedly the same lcd as the dvx and other pannies. They probably designed it without all the wires or something like that.
No offense the Hvx is one of the best, if not the best camera out there.
But I rely on the lcd a lot, so I'm glad I didn't buy the hvx.

The lcd isn't good on that camera, but it's not "unusable". I wouldn't steer away from a great camera just because the lcd isn't great. Heck every great camera i've used always has at least one minor downfall. I've never seen or used a 100% complete "perfect" camera.

Like RE100 said, it really is a minor problem and certainly not worth avoiding the HVX for! And for those complaining that it's hard to use for good focusing, that's what the viewfinder is for. That's also why the viewfinder has black and white and EVF detailing.

It's actually nice to see that people end up focusing on the little things wrong with the HVX, because I guess there's really nothing else bad to say about it :)
