Im looking for a good place to register my domain name for my editing business. Who do yall use? Any suggestions as to web hosting? I have an i.mac account but it's limited as to website building.

I have a mac account and use iWeb. But I bought a domain at GoDaddy and it just transfers the name so I don't have to use the stupid imac account name.

It is good for now.

did you design and build your own site, or did you let 1and1.com build it?

1and1.com all the way. I've tried out a pile of different hosts but they have by far the best price/volume ratio. All my sites are hosted there and I advise all my clients to use them as well.

I've used Godaddy for quite a while - no major issues.
But I don't do a whole lot other than use my server space to uplaod stuff for clients to see.

Go Daddy all the way. I use them for everything.

1 and 1 . com

1 and 1 - have hosted numerous sites there for years. Excellent service dept response, HUGE pipes (your clients don't spend time waiting), lots of free software add-ons. Had several bad experiences before landing there.

Very reasonably priced - Pleased to recommend.
