J.J Abrams "Cloverfield" project.

Yes Zak, people do realize that.

nice.

with all due respect my man, i don't think that's true. there are exceptions of course, but I haven't seen any mention of the actual filmmakers involved. just a bit of talk about how J.J. is repeating himself. actually, Drew Goddard would be the person responsible for any similarities to Lost.

i saw the trailer and saw the name, so i knew from the first time i saw the trailer JJ wasn't writing or directing. i knew a LOST writer was writing it...

which leads me to believe that this is the smoke monster from lost, running around NYC

why would make it a monster froma television show.... just seems well unimaginative and a cop out to get ratings.

i'm just joking.

altough if it did happen that it is the monster from LOST, i will laugh my ass off, that Abrams spent all this time on a movie as a joke.

Saw the new trailer in front of Beowulf.... not too hyped about it.

So much for the trailer...how about Beowulf?

My buddy and I missed the trailers before No Country... last night, but he did see all the posters for Beowulf, which was going to be our backup movie in case No Country... fell through, and now he wants to see it more than I ever did.

How was it?

The 'coolest' thing about Cloverfield is how secret they have kept it. If anything, I commend them on that. It looks fun, but I am not dying to see it.

the kept it secret by watermarking the actors/crew members names on the pages of the script that way if it leaked, it could be traced to the actor/crew member. they only got that day's pages, then turned them in at the end of the day.
