Don't worry, its not on "Youtube", but there is some compression, but not bad.

let me know what you think.

I've really come to like my letus35flip

really nice footage, I like the CC on it too.... I am right on the brink of ordering a letusFE.... still trying to figure out what rails work best for my dvx100b and the letusFE

I heard indifocus has a good set up and price. what do you use Nathan?

I own the indi rails, but I hate the mounting system they have, its like screwing a joke of a screw to the bottom of you camera, but I do like his follow focus considering the price.

So as of now I don't use any, but that stops me from being able to use my follow focus which makes me upset, My friend owns M2's redrock rails , they are pretty good, I'll probably end up buying those, even tho I dont want to pay the price

looks pretty nice man.

how do you find the nuance of having to have each of those mirrors spotless and clean from dust?

that makes me contemplate indirails, the joke of a screw.... i really like the price of course and the FF seems to be just fine, and you even said it....

how much are m2 redrock rails by the way?

and yeah again, the footage looks really cool, great job!

" how do you find the nuance of having to have each of those mirrors spotless and clean from dust? "

To be honest, Im pretty bad about cleaning the thing, but its not a static adapter,
it has vibrating glass.

there's not a lot too it.

I own the FE for about three months now and only cleaned it once. I think I might have to clean it again, but that's done within five minutes. I also bought a Canon body cap to seal the thing when not in use. Now I only need another cap for the 72mm threat.

I like the footage. But what's so great about a Follow Focus? I never used a FF before, and I focus just right. So what's the big plus about a FF?

Did you use an external monitor, btw?

now i know the unit flips the image horizontally, but does it flip it left side right as well ( veritcally )

the reason why a follow focus is so helpul is if you moving the camera during a shot.
say your dollying backward, its a lot easier to pull focus foward or backward then left to right.

Hey Nathan,

do you support the adapter with something that attaches to the rails?

I'd like to see a bigger picture of your set up.....

I am still not sure if rods only offer to attach a matte box or FF and NOT serve as a support for a heavy adapter plus lens. I want it to be easy on my DVX lens.

Unless you are using big lenses, there is no need for a support system when using the letus. It weighs a little over one pound.

Related question.

Was that an interview you were shooting?

Did that environment work for you in terms of sound, and logistics?

I am think about shooting an interview in a similar setup.

Thanks
