I finally got my HVX200 today! I am practically jumping around the studio in giddy glee .:2vrolijk_08:
I’d like to thank all who convinced me to buy from an authorized dealer. Granted it was a bit more expensive, but the service and peace of mind is just invaluable. I purchased my HVX from http://www.roscor.com/. I got everything, including a 16GB P2 card, for around $6000. The P2 card is still on back order of course =P.
Any way, my rep was Lee Drady and was an excellent man to deal with. Stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process and answered all my questions.
I would highly recommend them to anyone still looking for a good place to buy.
Once again thanks for everyone’s help and insight. I’m off to go shoot some test footage!
