Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, I'm an extremely happily married man myself, so we definitely weren't trying to bash marriage... we had hoped that it would come across as so over the top that it would in no way even be comparable to an actual marriage (we hope!). It is a completely exaggerated and unrealistic situation in every respect.

The concept was to take a situation that in real life, would be a very difficult decision. Then, we push the circumstances to such an extreme limit that it would be completely absurd for it not to end up being an extremely easy decision... like the decision to choose Heinz. Hopefully we got that across as well as thought we did.
