San Francisco Short Film Festival

[davidreimers]

Hello,

a few months ago I digitally sent out my short film to this festival. Fee was $ 20.

However, there is no real official website and supposedly it is an online festival or digital festival. After sending out $ 20 I figured this is a scam. I mean there is no real tangible proof of a festival with that name.

Now I have received an email, that my film was preselected???

Anyone have had any experiences with this type of stuff. IS it real or just a scam? I really cant tell.....

They show up on IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/Sections/Awards/San_Francisco_Short_Film_Festival/

and they're also listed with Withoutabox so the chances are they're probably ligit.

Thats interesting. My film was pre-selected too. Lets see what happens

I know this is weird. No clue what to think of it. Judges will view it, but it will not be screened to public? Well, what is then the purpose of that festival?

I know. Maybe we all win a certificate - so we get bragging rights Something on the resume.
Who knows man!
