This film was briefly discussed in these forums. But i recently purchased it and i must say the quality of the hvx is exceptional. But it got me thinking, why if it were shot with the camera i own, does that footage look so much better then mine. I say this because theres a scene in a strip club that has red lighting and darkness and yet i see no artifact compression, no banding, no pixelation. I shot a similar scene and it looks like crap.
I believe i lit it properly. The only other thing i could have done was overlight it completely. But then it wouldnt have had the look i was after.
