Underwater DVX footage from Red Sea

WTF.. It's not red! What a horribly misleading name. :-p haha

Anyway, excellent footage. I'd love to do stuff like this for a living.

Peter that footage was absolutely amazing realy loved it. Iwas in the red sea myself in june snorkelling at Taba but did not see as much as you have filmed where did you shoot that. I am going back to the red sea again in february 2008 to do some more snorkelling but do not have a underwater housing for my xha1 where did you buy your housing from.

video was fantastic, but my question is, how do you find a video host with such beautiful compression? definitely miles above youtube standards.

im gonna risk making this generalization but for some reason to me all underwater photography looks amazing. maybe its the smooth movements or something i dunno. great job.

Compression and video stream optimization I did it myself. Ok, with great help from Sorenson Squeeze, I use Sorenson Spark Pro Codec, 768Kbps Total Data Rate, min. quality 90. Better option is using On2 VP6 Pro codec, sharper image, but then file is to much big (aprox. 280MB), now is 160MB. Host is classical http host with 100Mbps, no science...
