STILLS: natural light - DVX100B - Redrock M2 35mm lens converter

Trying to get it to look like film as much as possible...

...some stills done a while back using DVX100B and redrock M2 35mm lens converter, lens used was a Pentax 28mm, but the wierd thing is you have zoom in so far past the motor you seem to end up with not a very wide angle lens at all...these were early on experiments.

Battling picture noise problems, but not entirely convinced that you CAN get rid of all noise...is it possible?

I'm having to battle noise in the image too. The way to get rid of it, in my case has been to increase light and then to iris down.

P.S. Michael...good stuff on the White Planet animation

Red backgrounds/foregrounds are bad for MiniDV. Try neutral or green curtains?

Also, might have to gel those windows down, and then you'll see blue sky, and the image will come alive!

adobe after effects can smooth away a lot of grain, but some noise is merit to 35 adapters.
