Some of the cleanest HVX footage I've ever seen

Brandon Rice

Distributed Producer
Hey everyone, I just put a longer extended sneak peak to our kid's show online, and it's a mix of practical set (pre-credit opening) and green screen stuff (opening credits)

So enjoy! We also have a few DVX green screen shots in the opening credits montage, try to spot them ;) :)

Forgot to mention, this is really the only thing I've shot (other than a few random tests) with the HVX, first project, and so far, only one. I am planning to shoot two Kinetica Adfest projects, and also a feature teaser trailer in August.

Brandon that was amazing!!! Sure the footage looked great but the whole show looks really polished and cool. Even looks amusing enough the adults will want to watch. Why doesnt Mr Joe get a real credit though? Couldnt tell you the DVX/HVX difference - intercuts well I guess. Fantastic work as usual Brandon - any deals in the works on this one? Theme is catchy too, very nice.

Hey, thanks for checking it out! We've got some communication going with several TV networks, and are anxious to see the trailer in it's finished entirety :) Glad you enjoyed it!

I'd seriously actually watch this - would also watch Beakman's World if it came back on too. Good looking space suit btw, Mr Joe seems like a good man for the role.

I agree. Brandon, this looks really good. I think you're on to something. That Mr. Joe guy is very talented as well. :)

I've had the pleasure of seeing the whole episode and I can tell you it is a fun show. Kids and adults both will enjoy it, and it's very informative.

Being a fan of Bill Nye and Beakman's World, I can say this is right up there with those type of shows.

Good job guys

Hey Brandon - SP Live looks like a pretty interesting movie. The premise sounds all to like my real life... Is this something you guys just started or is it close to being done?

Well, over the course of about three years, we shot over 77 hours of footage, and now, we have a finished 77 minute film. It's a pretty fun, funny rollercoaster ride, and I think you'd like it. We're searching for a distributor for that film as well right now :) It's very different, but I think there's a market for it.

Dude, this is FABULOUS! Not only does it look AWESOME, but the talent has a great look and feel that both adults and kids could enjoy. The lighting is super. I think you guys are really on to something with this show. All the best to you...

Are you guys too proud to ask?
Settings, damn it, setting!!!
Your thread title wasn´t wrong, really clean footage!
Hope you can sell it, seems to be a great show!

Brandon that looks great man. Very cool. I'm at the office and I showed my wife as it was playing and she loved it too.

I bet my kids would like it.

that would be the ultimate judge for you. if kids dig it..

was that 60i? or 30p?

Good luck with it! :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Very bold thread title, B-Man. However, that's great HVX200 footage. The practical far outshines the VFX, and hopefully you guys will be able to punch those up to match.

Best visuals I've seen out of you to date, which shows progression and I doubt it was because of the new toy.

Good job.

P.S.: Where's Timur at? B.PRESS| Kr3w for life! See that B.Press in Brandon's settings? Magic.

Wow...it's 24p? Man...looks really smooth (could just be my monitor), but it looked like 30p to me. Well done!

Any CC?
