Testshooting for another film - Hostagesituation

thanx. Yeah, and to top it of the youtube converter did it even darker. On a tv-screen it looks more brighter though. ITs the light that we shot this for. Im pretty satisfied. Got a load of good response on a similar forum in sweden =)
 
YouTube does kill your quaility. Would love to see the unspoiled version. Have you tried Stage6 yet? It's divx based and it's amazing

What are you scoring with?? that wasn't a "soundtrack music bed", was it?
 
My only comments, and it could be personal taste, but with subjects and shooting SWAT like people, i enjoyed more of the close up/high shutter shots much more. I prefer settings like that with scenes like you have shot. Again its all personal taste.
 
great stuff. wish I could do that. really like the lighting and camera work (for the most part). I didn't like the dutch angle when the guys come into the warehouse. I did like almost every other shot. Good work.
 
wow. Its really nice to read all of your good responses :). Yes im a bit aware of the kinda slow going "story" in the shot. And I like "inspire84" also have a strange love for the high shutter/close up shots. It ads that interesting, detailed part of the clips. think im gonna use more of that in the real movie.

The medium shots were very good and pro looking. The long shots looked amateur. The music didn't fit. The guy shouldn't of had to cock his gun before he shot the terrorist. Point and shoot. Good job otherwise.
 
hehe, yeah it looked real lame having to cock the gun after running trough a garage looking for bad guys in 10 minutes. My great Velbon tripod is lost to, so therefore the long shots became shaky and bad. the music was from a game i just putted in instead of having a quiet movie.
 
that was good. right away it may be a little too blue and under exposed but thats youtube for you the scenes were set up nicely though good work
