New 599 Productions HD Timelapse

[Drew599]

I figured that I would post this here first because it seems like most of the people here like this stuff. I'm not sure if this clip has any HVX stuff in it...maybe the first shot if I remember right. Most of it was done with a 20D. But here it is.

Thanks for posting, always love to see your timelapse work!
Loving the wide shots of the city.
What is shot with the HVX and what is shot with a Digi SLR?

[FilmBoy77]

nice with the streaks....but where have i heard that song from recently??

did you raise the blacks in post in order to avoid dark night time shots?

that time lapse was hot!

[THoff]

I think the music is from the "City of Angels" soundtrack. It's been a while since I saw the movie and I have the CD somewhere, but that seems about right and would be very appropriate.

I really like the video. Most of those locations are not far from where I live, but I still find footage like this fascinating.

Awesome as usual. Was the timelapse with the dark buildings the hvx? Have you played around with adding motion blur in post at all? Worth trying out for diversity.

[Drew599]

Yeah the first shot was HVX. I haven't tried adding motion blur yet but for the most part I try and use a 360db shutter to get some blur.

The track is from the "V for Vendetta" soundtrack.

Oh and I should also have a couple new timelapse clips coming up here soon. There will be another one about the same length as this one. Then I'm going to do a long one that will have almost every shot I've ever done in it. The next one I'm working on has more HVX shots in it.

hey drew. whats the best set up on the hvx to get nice streaks and trails like yours for the hvx in timelapse mode??
