Spielberg on Spielberg

[Batutta]

A 90 minute special on Turner Classic Movies airs twice tonight featuring Spielberg and only Spielberg talking about his career. Sounds fascinating.

i have a reminder set... can't wait!

[Drew Ott]

Sweet. I'm definitely watching it.

[mjjason]

Thanks, I would have missed this.

Looks like he is going up against himself in the ratings tonight. I am pretty sure this show will get more viewers than On the Lot.

I think most shows do.

[Tom Marshall]

I would think more people watch the tv guide channel than On The Lot these days.

[Batutta]

Wow...He improvised the ENTIRE opening sequence to Saving Private Ryan, no storyboards...I suddenly feel very inferior. This show was awesome but way too short.

[Eastside Parkway]

Pretty interesting. I liked his thoughts on the foreign interview translators.

Thanks. Turner owes you a few bucks in ad dollars. I wouldn't have known about this show if you hadn't posted.

Going to watch at 12:00. Thanks for the info, can't wait!

[Tom Marshall]

It's just starting now here on the West coast... wish I had some popcorn...

[Drew Ott]

It was great.

Thanks for mentioning it or I would have never known about it.

[ExtremeSleuth]

that was great.

that's why the guy is my idol.

[Drew Ott]

I wonder if I could pull of the Spielberg stunt of sneaking around Universal looking for a way in these days. My guess: no way in hell.

BTW ZFarms, you have you idol's name spelled incorrectly in your signature.

[Simon Höfer]

Hm, I wish I could see it

[Tom Marshall]

Spielberg has an amazing sense of the story and what it takes to make it come to life...

No problem. I never noticed your misspelling until I was typing Spielberg and I looked at your quote to make sure it was correct. They were different so I second guessed myself and looked it up.

[Jim Brennan]

Aside from a few interesting anecdotes, I found it to be fluff. Entertaining, but not much more.
