I prefer Canon FD over Nikons because they are usually a lot cheaper than Nikons and offer similiar quality. Plus if you want you can use older M42 (like Pentax lenses) lenses with an adapter part. I would start with a 50/1.4 lens, then maybe 28/2.8 and 85/1.8, that's a good set of lenses.
