"Perception" - a short film

A friend came over for a day so she, my sister, and I decided to film a short. Shot & edited in around 3 hours...
Please tell me what you think, if you get it, etc.
As a highschool student (or actually, just graduated on Monday--wOOt!), I'm always looking to improve... and I value your opinions a ton... so yeah, please critique/bash away! Thanks!

Okay, thanks! Do you have any suggestions as to how to keep the viewers' attention? I definitely could have planned it a lot better--given that I had more time--so that is what I'll be working on in the future.
I'm more into the shooting & cinematography aspect of filming... so I hope to grow in the story-part as I continue to film...
 
I think you said it... You formulate a plan. You have to have a plan. I know you did this on the fly, so with that in mind, you did very well. Look at others work that you love. What made that film so special? On here for example, you see a film that looks amazing to you, ask that person how they achieved it. You plan, you make mistakes, and you ask lots of questions along the way. You'll get there. Filmmaking is always a work in progress.

By the way, love your C.S. Lewis quote. Gotta love some Jack. =)
