All right so hosting the olympics isn't ENTIRELY about graphic design. I guess you have to erect structures, and pay plumbers... and other stuff related to athletes bathing in private. But has anyone seen the 2012 logo? They had to remove movies from the official website because there were reportings of epileptic seizures. This is real! Someone was paid 400,000 dollars to produce this:

I don't know. Its sort of the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Maybe I'll be wowed by it four to five years from now. What's odd is that I play a family game called Tangoes all the time. And I took this picture in the summer of 1996. Somehow Tangoes predicted this logo, years before London even made its bid!!
Yes, everyone hates this logo. British people are ashamed of it. If you're sitting there thinking "I don't know its kind of innocent and cute" just take one moment and stare at the negative space. Stare at the center where its not pink. Its a jagged chaotic mess. It has no business being printed twice let alone three million times.
