Abel Cine HVX200 deal for DVXusers

Many times, I've seen the Abel Cine banner in the upper right corner of my browser when viewing DVXuser which says, "Special deals for members of DVXuser.com". However, when I click the banner, I'm taken to a page on Abel Cine's site that doesn't load properly for me (missing images, etc.).

So, just exactly what is the deal on an HVX200 for a member of DVXuser?

Sure, I could drop an e-mail or call tomorrow, but if someone knows the deal, please post it here.

Thanks!

Terry,

I got a quote from Jerrod at Abel a few weeks ago.
There was no discount on the HVX (listed at $5190), but there was a considerable discount on tripod and accessory prices.

Friendly, knowledgable guy. It's nice that they provide some latitude in pricing.

A friend got his... can't remember where but he paid close to $5,200 including tax... he bought it about a month ago...

Ok, here we go....

The list price was 5,295.00 and I picked it up for 5,099.00.

Call the burbank store and ask for Ron. :)

Sure will.

Here's my situation... I have $4K set aside for the camera right now. I will have to wait a week or so for more $$ because I want to avoid any financing - (I might be financing a more expensive camera next year). However, the HVX is definitely going to happen soon. I have several kick-arse Beaulieu Super8 cameras I need to unload on eBay. That could easily make up the difference.
