I have a SGPro which has never really been used. I did hook it up to see how it worked (and to verify that it works, and it does) but I have never used it.

I would be open to selling it or trading it.

I will take offers via PM or as a responce to this thread.

Let me know what is out there.
 
For trade I am pretty open. I really only have a Bogen Tripod, the 100B and the SGPro. So if you know of some things that really helped you originally and are basics I would be looking more for that.

I'll get back to the PMs later today.
 
Because I haven't used it yet and I think I would get better use out of other equipment I don't have yet.
 
Why don't you just tell us how much you'll take for it. Otherwise, if you want to hold an auction, I would suggest Ebay.
 
Sorry. I am taking offers for trade first. Selling is a secondary option but I am willing to take offers if it beats what I can get in trade.

If you don't like it, try another thread.

There is one on Ebay right now (with Matte Box and 50mm Lens, I can offer a Lens too, just no Matte Box) for 1775 without it's reserve met.

If you want a price, someone give me 1300-1400, plus shipping, and we have a deal, otherwise send me other offers...

It's only 1,040 new with shipping from sgpro.com
The main benefit anyone will get from buying it is that they won't have to wait 3 months to get one but I don't know if that will justify an extra 300-400 dollars.
 
Well shipping too is expensive on the site.

But that is my point. Don't ask me for a dollar amount I'd be willing to sell it at. The guy wasn't even involved in any of the talks previously.

So if someone wants to stop the presses and buy it, they can consider that to be the Buy It Now price, otherwise all other offers are welcome in my inbox.
 
I am not trying to be a jerk, but I am trying to test the waters to see what the value is as much as anything. I am not 100% willing to sell/trade it unless it benefits me more than keeping it.

Well the truth is that there is a market for your adapter but to price it more than the current manufacturer is selling it is gouging the market. To add to that the adapter that you have isn't even the current one that is being sold. Yours is the previous model and doesn't have the new revisions.

I know you say you aren't trying to be a jerk but I hate to break it to you but that's what you're being.

What you are doing is trying to inch out into the water so that you end up on top. You know full well what you paid for the adapter and you know how much it sells for new but you are just trying to take advantage of someone just like the thousands of people who bought PS3 's and tried to sell them for a markup on e-bay.

If you want you can keep the adapter and wait a year then it will be worth half the value it is now. You can't buy something then use it and always expect to get your full purchase price back.

Is the sgpro version 2 or 3?

I will buy it for 1200$, even if it is more expensive than the one from manufacture.
