Naming your Company

My video production company is called Filmmunition.

Pronounced like ammunition, film-look is what it's all about.

that is a pretty cool word. how do you pronounce it?

When I first started out I came across this idea:

An ideal name should be a combination of something that identifies your service as well as something that is memorable. My first name was Johnson Videography. Ouch:huh: After some brain storming I came up with

Deer
Panda

Cinema
Studio
Videography
FX
Motion

Combined the two I liked (after I tested them) and came up with Panda Motion. There should be a .gov site that you should search to ensure that the name is not taken. You will need to register it before you can cash any checks to that name.

haha thats pretty cool. I like that name 'Panda Motion,' it sticks out and is very memorable. =)

People ask me for my website, email, etc., so I have to spell it out, a-l-c-h-e-m-y. Video is pretty easy.

Our name actually came out of a skit we had written and never used. At the time it was the only thing we could all agree on. Now, years later, we get nothing but compliments on it, and it serves our commercial purposes just as well as our artistic ones.
