Black Moth Super Rainbow Music Video

wow this is weird. i was sitting here listening to black moth super rainbow when i just got on this site and saw this thread. i guess this band is bigger than i thought.
 
that was really good. what NLE did you use and how did you do the split screen effects?

i saw BMSR in march... very good band. love the pure analogue sounds

I did the split-screen stuff in what was probably a very inefficient manner...The parts that take up 1/4 of the screen i just reduced to 49% of their original sizes (extra 1% so that the black bars would split them up), and the 1/2 screens I reduced the opacity of 51% of the frame to 0% (maybe 12% on the right and 39% on the left, depending on where the interest stuff was) so that half of the picture was in effect completely black. All of this was done in Final Cut Pro.

Which stuff are you referring to, yia?
