Hi guys,

I've made a new short film called, "Post-it Girl" and you can watch it at www.Whatareyouin2.com. It's shot with DVX100a with Letus35FE. You can also see the production still at "pic" section on www.myspace.com/wonderedby.

Please enjoy it and make sure you VOTE for me! Any questions or comments are welcome. Thx!

I know. They made it damn hard to sort it out. Click on Shuffle, move your mouse over images and you will see the one with Post-it Girl. Thx.

what are you IN2?....... I'm into sites I can navigate. Watching things users post without getting annoyed. And being sarcastic.

Yup. that site won't let me scroll down to see all the films. I've pressed the shuffle over and over, but yours must be near the bottom and I can't get to it. I see there are more entry's down there, but no scroll bar so I can't get to them.

****UPDATE****
I just found out that there IS a scrolling bar. It's located on the side that says "YOURfilms". You can grab it drag up and down. So now you can click on Sort by title and drag it down to find films start with letter P. Thx.

Sorry guys if you can't find the movie. I also really don't like the way they made this website. I wish there's a scrolling function at least.

But fortunately enough, if you click on "sort by rating", my film is usually on that first page. That's the easiest way to find. Thx for your interest. I really want to hear what DVXusers have to say about my film. Any comments are appreciated. Thx!

I found it, watched it, and set that site as my homepage.... looked pretty good, it also looked like the judging already took place?

Olivermellan, I am so glad you found it. Good thing's hard to find. haha. Just kidding. Public voting has already started.. goes on till the end of this month and then the celebrity judge will come and pick the winner.

And Chris, the scrolling bar that says "YOURfilms" doesn't work for you? that's weird cuz it should. Sorry. Hmm..

Nice job! Good to see a clip without all the dark shadows once in a while. Would you mind posting scene file settings and any problems/solutions with the shoot?

metro2307, thx! the scene file setting was the original 24pa setting except the detail level was down to -3, this is necessary when you have the adaptor on. less shadows are inspired by many super 16 indie films. it feels more "real" and "intimate" i think.

the only problem i could think of is that the original final cut of the movie ended up being about 6 minutes and i had to cut it down to less than 3 minutes to enter the CK competition. that's why it might look a little choppy but the biggest debate i had was whether i cut the whole ending part and give a little more room to other shots that come before it or save the whole ending part and chop everything else even more. i decided to lose the whole ending.. so what you see on CK website is not quite the complete story but it still works well i think with the narration.

oh.. and during production, we forgot to bring the reflector for outdoor scenes so we just used the car silver reflective sunshade and wow, it works just as good as $50 film reflector. you can bend it and fold it to give all weird kinds of lighting. that's my filmmaking lesson to you all. hehe.

i gave up after 15 seconds.

are you talking about the page loading? video loading? or you couldn't find it?
whatever it was, I am sorry. please give it one more try because I would appreciate more comments or feedbacks. I don't like the way they made this website either in case you wanna know.

If you can't find the film, here's how:
click on "Sort by Title" on the top and drag(not click) down the scrolling bar that says "YOURfilms" to films start with letter P. that way you can find the film "Post-it Girl". thx and sorry again. I hope you get to see it.

I can't really say.. i think it's safe not to. they probably wanted to promote their product and stuff over their website with this whole competition making people to come and vote so if we post our videos on other website, they not gonna like it.

wow, great! thx!
I am glad somebody mentioned Amelie. It's really an honor if it even looks close to that movie.. or feels like it, at least. I think the quirky girl character has a lot to do with it. She's sorta off the wall, funny, and sassy.
