that first shot looks like **** from the camera before color time.

PANASONIC: give us less compression, it looks like royal ass in post when you try and color time it. best I can get from the HVX that looks good is SD, shooting original in HD. - Oh well, I guess my RED will fix this. and to think that Panasonic could have my 30+ G if they had a good system coming out.

I think you would be a PRIME candidate for the Hydra upgrade Obin.

Gorgeous color! Talk about playing the green scale like a virtuoso. It's like you drained all the color and then selectively re-painted certain pumped-up areas back in... I sense there were a lot of layers in the process. Great work..

Matthew, thanks for the words. I find it amazing how far we can push the hvx at times. I know it's got horrid compression but it still get's the "look" we are going for, just not at the res or color honesty we would like.

Fusion yes.

My brother and I are color timing shots right now. edit is locked.

The grass looks beautiful, but there seems to be a slight green tint to the sand and skin.

obin, that first shot of the fairway/green, is that stock HVX lens or together with the M2? If it was bad to start with, you polished it well man.

ya it was hvx+wide cheapo screw on lens, no redrock

it looked like royal video ass when first shot before time. I will post it in a little while, gotta get the job done first!!
